COLUMBIA, Missouri (KOMU) - A Decatur, Illinois woman died and three people were injured after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 44 in Phelps County, Missouri early Tuesday morning.

Kasey Cloud, 27, was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra westbound near the 187-mile marker when she lost control of the vehicle, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The Sierra struck a concrete barrier, traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle then overturned multiple times, partially ejecting Cloud and fully ejecting a passenger, before it came to a rest in the road, the report said.

Cloud was pronounced dead at the scene. A 30-year-old man, also from Decatur, had serious injuries and was transported to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla by ambulance.

A 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl had minor injuries and were taken to Phelps Health by local police, the report said.

The GMC Sierra was totaled in the crash, according to the report.
