WATSEKA, IL- A door manufacturing plant in Iroquois County will be closing, and 61 people will lose their jobs.
Another door company, Masonite, bought out Lifetime Doors in October. Masonite plans to close five of the existing six Lifetime Doors plants, including the one in Watseka.
Some Lifetime workers have already been let go, and the rest will be let go when the factory shuts down December 31st.
The Lifetime Doors plant has operated in Watseka since 1975.
