A retired Sangamon County teacher is dead after a bizarre accident in San Diego.
Sherman retired teacher Sharon Miller was sightseeing when the driver of the pedi-cab she was riding in made a swerving motion, knocking her onto the pavement where she hit her head. Williamsville School Superintendent David Root says this is a "terrible turn of events for the school and community."
The family is currently in San Diego. Funeral arrangements are pending.
