TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - The Christian County Sheriffs Office responded to a large gas leak in Taylorville in the area of Hawley Street and Bryant Street, Tuesday evening.
According to a Facebook post by the Sheriffs Office, residents or those nearby were asked to evacuate the area.
As of 9:18 p.m., the Sheriffs Office advise the public that the Taylorville fire department had resolved the issue and that residents are safe to return to the area.
