(WAND) – Pepperidge Farm is recalling four types of Goldfish crackers due to salmonella concerns.
NBC Chicago reports the company has voluntarily removed the products after hearing about a recall from a whey powder manufacturer. Pepperidge Farm uses that powder in some of its Goldfish products.
Brands include:
- Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar
- Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion
- Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
- Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
Those products are the only ones from Pepperidge Farm that are involved in a recall. The station says there are no illnesses at this time.
Pepperidge Farm distributed the Goldfish snacks in the United States.
The company wants anyone with questions to call its customer service line at 800-679-1791 or visit this website. They say people who bought the products involved in the recall should throw them out or return them for a refund.
