Families in need will have a new place to get their mail delivered after some area kids step in to help build new homes.
Habitat for Humanity and the Center for Children Services teamed up with a plan to put young people to work, and train them for the future. 50 kids will be guided by mentors to actually build a home. They'll earn minimum wage and help families in need. More than 300 young people applied to be a part of the Habitat Project, but only 50 were chosen.
The home they are working on should be finished by next spring.
