CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon. 

Officers responded to the intersection of Mattis Avenue and East Ford Harris Road in Hensley Township around 1:49 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found a motorcycle crash involving a truck towing a bean head. The motorcycle driver, identified as 58-year-old Jason Hart, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Hart and another motorcycle rider were traveling down Mattis Avenue while the truck was driving down East Ford Harris Road.

According to police, Hart crashed into the truck's trailer at the intersection. The second motorcycle avoided the crash and was not involved.

Police are still investigating the incident.
