MILMINE, Ill. (WAND) — A bicyclist is dead after being hit by an SUV in Milmine Friday night.
It happened on Illinois Route 105 west of North 500 Road 14th just after 10:30 p.m.
Illinois State Police said a 76-year-old man from Milmine was riding his bicycle when an SUV hit him from behind.
The cyclist died on the scene. Police are still investigating the crash.
