DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - One man was hospitalized after being shot late Wednesday morning in Decatur.Â
The Decatur Police Department told WAND News that officers responded to a shots fired call before noon Sept. 10, around the 1700 block of W. Leafland Avenue.Â
Decatur police said that officers arrived to find a man who was shot in both feet.Â
DPD shared that the man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and 12 fired bullet casings were found in the road.Â
This investigation is ongoing.
