(WAND) - A long stretch of dry and warmer weather is forecast for Central Illinois.

After a frosty start, today's highs will reach the mid-to-upper-50s as clouds increase.  As a cold front passes through the area this evening, only a few sprinkles are possible with lows dropping back into the low-30s.

Plenty of sunshine is expected Friday and Saturday with a few more clouds Sunday.  

Highs on Friday and Sunday will be around 50° and we'll reach the low-50s Saturday.  It'll be rather breezy into the weekend.

More sunshine kicks off the new week with highs in the 40s to around 50°.
