DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — Four people were injured after a crash on I-74 Friday afternoon.
Illinois State Troopers responded to I-74 eastbound around milepost 214 just before 1 p.m. for reports of a pickup truck that crashed into a semi-truck.
Officers said the pickup slammed into the back of the semi in a construction zone.
All four people in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital.
All lanes were closed for about four hours, but they reopened just before 5 p.m.
The investigation is still ongoing.
