CARLINVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A Macoupin County city is one of 25 finalists for Hallmark's Merriest Christmas Town contest.
Carlinville was nominated as part of Hallmark's nationwide search for communities that "bring the spirit of Christmas to life" through traditions, celebrations and community spirit.
Now, the city has the chance to be named Hallmark's Merriest Christmas Town, and serve as the filming location for a future Hallmark holiday movie.
Anyone can submit one vote per day through September 4th here.
