SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Registration is officially open for the 2026 Lake Springfield boating season, according to City, Water, Light and Power.Â
CWLP said that renewal licenses for boats and other crafts registered during the 2025 season have been mailed and must be returned by June 30.Â
Licenses will also be available at CWLP Security at 3100 Stevenson Drive, the Lake Springfield Marina and The Boat Dock at 3111 Cockrell Lane.
The application form is available online.Â
