DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The city of Decatur is working with the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations (CONO) to encourage Decatur residents to get involved and make a difference in their communities this month.
The city is introducing it's inaugural Community Impact Days. From July 17-19, community members are encouraged to work together to make Decatur cleaner, stronger, and more connected through acts like picking up litter, mowing a neighbor's lawn or planting flowers.
Five organized Decatur neighborhoods are planning cleanup activities as well.
