DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur City Council approved a deal Monday evening to create a new transit service, Operation Uplift.
The city inked a deal with Lindsey Life, a new adult daycare in Decatur.
The facility will use a city para-transit vehicle to bring members to and from the daycare on South Franklin Road.
The city will also track rides and invoice the facility every month.
