FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) - The Village of Forsyth planning and zoning commission is helping bring a Chick-fil-A to the area.
At its board meeting Thursday night, the commission approved five different ordinances related to the restaurant's opening.
A village administrator said all but one ordinance was passed unanimously.
The plans will now go to the village board for approval during its Jan. 20 meeting.
The village expects work to begin in the spring if approved.
