SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The state of Illinois is working with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOCs) to help those affected by last month's storms. 

Central Illinois residents and businesses in counties eligible for SBA disaster assistance include Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Moultrie and Shelby counties.

This comes after severe storms that rolled through the area June 17. 

According to the state, the centers will provide support for applicants who need loans for storm-related damage that isn't covered by insurance.

Local centers are at the following locations:

  • Coles County Center for Human Services, Charleston; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
  • Effingham School District Building, Effingham; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

Walk-ins are welcome, and additional information is available online.
