SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois Manufacturers' Association (IMA) will host an event to showcase the Prairie State's diverse food manufacturing.
The IMA will host the inaugural Food Innovation Day Tuesday, March 24, at the State Capitol.
Showcase participants will include ADM, Gilster Mary Lee, Clementine's Creamery, Conagra Foods, General Mills, Mars Snacking, Kraft Heinz, Mondelēz International, Tyson Foods, Hormel Foods, Vanee Foods and PepsiCo.
"From everyday essentials to iconic brands, these companies not only feed families around the world, they fuel economic growth and strengthen our communities here at home. We are proud to spotlight their wide impact and vital contributions," said IMA President and CEO Mark Denzler in a statement.
