Drivers are being advised of a "serious" crash in Piatt County Monday afternoon.

LOVINGTON/HAMMOND, Ill. (WAND) - Drivers are being advised of a "serious" crash in Piatt County Monday afternoon. 

Illinois State Police Troop 7 posted on Facebook that troopers are investigating a crash along US-36 between Hammond and Lovington. 

ISP said that extended lane closures are expected, and drivers are encouraged to find other routes.
