DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Lake Decatur will host a high school bass fishing tournament in August.
The fourth annual 2026 Fall Frenzy High School Bass Fishing Tournament will be at Lake Decatur on August 29 and 30.
The two-day tournament is open to high school anglers from around the state, with two anglers on each boat. Final results will be based on the two-day accumulated weights.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for total weight over the entire tournament, and Big Bass will be awarded each day.
There will also be a complimentary dinner on Saturday at 5 p.m. for tournament participants and coaches/boat captains. Following the dinner, raffle prizes will be awarded to anglers and boat captains through a random draw.
Registration is open and all participant entries must be submitted by August 17.
