MOWEAQUA, Ill. (WAND) — The Moweaqua Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center discontinued service yesterday and will close their doors by August 12, Tutera Senior Living told WAND news on Friday. 

Tutera, the center's parent company, said financial struggles are among the reasons for the closure. 

A representative with Tutera said the decision to close was "not made lightly."

There are over 40 residents living there now. The center is working with other Tutera facilities and care centers to relocate them. 

The closest in-network center is the Mattoon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
