TUSCOLA, Ill. (WAND) - A Tuscola principal has resigned after a consultant found he sexually harassed a staff member.

Investigators from INCompliance Consulting found North Ward Elementary School Principal Jason Wallace had sexually harassed a teacher's aide from March 2023 to March 2025.

The woman accused Wallace of repeated unwanted texts and sexual or romantic in-person conversations.

She also said he often would hug her, brush her hair from her face, kiss her head and brush up against her.

In October, consultants recommended that Wallace be suspended from his job and removed as a Title IX coordinator.

Wallace resigned the following month on Nov. 24.
