DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - The VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville permanently housed 154 veterans in 2025, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.Â
In total, VA announced that 51,936 veterans found permanent homes this year, over 4,000 more housed than in 2024.Â
"This is life-changing and in many cases life-saving work. We are proud of the progress VA Illiana is making to get Veterans off the streets and are redoubling our efforts to continue this momentum moving forward," said VA Medical Center Director Staci Williams in a press release.Â
