DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Investigation is now underway after a fire at a vacant home.
It happened near Oakland Avenue near Decatur Street around 11:45 Friday night.
When firefighters arrived they found flames coming from the roof.
Firefighters said, neighbors told them there were people running from the home after the fire started.
Crews did search the home and no one was found inside.
Firefighters said, the home is unsafe to enter. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
