IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - The Iroquois County Courthouse is closed Friday.

The courthouse closed following severe storms that ripped through central Illinois Thursday.

Emergency agencies have reported several power outages and severe weather related damage to the area, including the courthouse.

Two windows at the courthouse were blown in, according to Iroquois County Sheriff Clint Perzee. Sheriff Perzee said there are uprooted trees on county building property and downed trees and limbs across the county.

He said no storm-related injuries have been reported as of Friday morning.

The courthouse will re-open Monday, June 15.
