Beason – Jason Harris is sentenced in the Beason family murder case.

 

Jason Harris was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison, for concealing a homicide, obstructing justice, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

 

On May 31st, his brother Chris Harris was convicted of beating to death five members of his ex-wife's family in their Beason home in 2009. Chris Harris was sentenced to five consecutive life terms.

 

Jason Harris testified that Chris Harris told him he killed all five victims after a night of drinking and drug use.  Jason Harris was originally charged with murder and obstruction of justice. For his testimony he received a 20 year sentence.
