Champaign – Officials now believe lighting was the cause of a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

 

The Eastern Prairie Fire Department was called to the 1500 block of Queens Way around 1pm, Tuesday. Fire had burned though the roof of a two story vacant home.

 

Several crews assisted, controlling the fire in about an hour .There were no injuries.
