DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – If you need a hotel or motel room for the Farm Progress Show in Decatur next week, you may not want to wait any longer, as rooms are filling up fast.

“I think we probably have maybe five rooms left for each day,” Comfort Inn & Suites owner Heresh Patel told WAND News Tuesday. “Farm Progress is a pretty good show, pretty good turnout for most of the hotels in the area. We should be almost sold out.”

The Decatur Area Convention & Visitors Bureau said that visitors should first look locally in the Decatur area for a room. If that fails, there are other options.

“Our neighboring cities like Springfield, Champaign, Bloomington-Normal are great options,” said Tonya Culp of the Decatur Area CVB.

The Farm Progress Show is Aug. 26, 27 and 28.
