DECATUR - The Macon County Highway Department has announced a temporary road closure that will affect a rural Macon County road on December 1.
Officials say Emery Road, between Oakland Avenue and Janvrin Road, and from Janvrin Road and Bearsdale Road, will be closed one mile at a time for culvert replacement. The project is being performed by Twin Forks Wind Farm.
Additionally, MCHD officials say crews will be working on West School Road to repair the roadway, and that equipment will be in the roadway at various times this week.
