Man killed in Sangamon County crash identified

(WAND) - A man who was killed in a Sangamon County crash Sunday morning has been identified.

At 7:08 a.m., Sangamon County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of an overturned truck in the 12700 blk of Pawnee Road.

Deputies found a man partially ejected from the 2007 GMC truck.

American Ambulance and Pawnee EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The Sangamon County Coroner identified that man as 29-year-old Sean Donahue of Springfield.

SCSO’s initial investigation showed the truck was northbound, left the road on the east side and hit a culvert causing the vehicle to flip.

Deputies said it appears the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
