CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois will try to run its winning streak to double-digits when it faces struggling Washington at the State Farm Center.
The Fighting Illini won its ninth straight game following an 88-82 upset win over Purdue on Saturday. That will forever be known as the Keaton Wagler game, as he scored a game-high 46 points. Washington is 11-9 on the season, including a 3-6 mark in Big Ten play.
This is the first meeting between the programs in Champaign since 1991, when Illinois won 76-55, per Illinois Athletics.
