SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — A 37-year-old man found during a house fire Friday night has been identified by the coroner.
Cory Beebe was found by firefighters at a fire on the the 1500 block of South 8th Street Friday evening.
An autopsy was performed Monday morning, and preliminary results show that Beebe died from smoke inhalation. The fire is still under investigation.
