BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) - A man was shot and nearby homes were hit by gunfire in Bloomington Monday night. 

Bloomington police were called to the 400 block of West Graham St. for a shooting at 10:46 p.m. 

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. 

Nearby homes were hit by gunfire. 

Police said the shooting happened outdoors. No arrests have been made at this time.

Chief Jamal Simington said, "We are looking to the neighborhood members and others to share information and aid detectives in solving this shooting. No matter how small, please do not hesitate to share what you know so we can bring the offender to justice and improve safety in our city. We are in this together, and violence will not be tolerated."
