DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A man was shot in Decatur Saturday afternoon. 

Decatur police were to respond to the hospital around noon for a shooting victim. 

Officers said a man had been shot in the lower left abdomen. He was in stable condition. 

The victim told them he was walking near his mother’s house in the 500 block of S. Haworth when he was shot.

He said he did not see who shot him. 

The shooting is under investigation.
