LINCOLN, Ill. (WAND) – A missing teen from the east coast may be in central Illinois, police say.
Officers report Tru Skelton, who a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children report says disappeared on Sept. 15, 2017, is from Spartanburg, S.C. She is 16 years old, white, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators say she is 5-foot-1.
Lincoln police believe she may be in the Lincoln area.
Police want anyone who might know of Skelton’s whereabouts to call 1-800-843-5678.
