PERRY COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) – Police are looking for a missing man who was last seen at a campground.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police say Richard A. Moore disappeared on July 20 from Pyramid State Recreation Area in Perry County. They say they found his white Ford Expedition and personal items on the campground.
Police say he sent a text message to his son at 9 a.m. on the day he disappeared saying his car broke down at Pyramid.
Moore in white, stands at 5-foot-8 and weighs 180 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Police say he was seen the week before he disappeared at Freeburg Freedom Camp in Freeburg and at the Marion Veterans Affairs center.
