Residents affected by the storm are encouraged to come and get the help they need during this difficult time.
Trained Red Cross Caseworkers will be at the MARC to assist people in making personal recovery plans, completing paperwork, and getting help for their specific needs caused by the disaster.
Representatives from various government, nonprofit, and religious organizations will also be there to support affected residents.
“The Red Cross is proud to join our partners in Marion to assist these residents that were greatly impacted by the storms and tornado that damaged many homes in the area,” South and West Central Illinois Executive Director Dawn Morris said. “Since the tornado hit, we’ve seen this community pull together to help one another and the Red Cross will continue to be here to provide comfort and care to those who need it most.”
