CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois State Police have handled multiple crashes Tuesday morning due to an icy road in Champaign. 

The right turn lane onto Staley Rd. from eastbound US-150 is iced over. 

Drivers are told to use an alternate route and slow down before seeing ice or snow covered roadways.
