DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The name of an 87-year-old man killed in a crash on Christmas Day has been released by the coroner.

Donald Crawley Sr. of Decatur crashed on U.S. 36 Wednesday afternoon according to the Decatur Police Department.

DPD Spokesman Sgt. Steve Hagemeyer said Crawley was in a pickup truck and went off the road and hit two utility poles and a sign. His pickup then crossed all lanes of the road and hit two more utility poles before coming to a stop.

Police said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. Crawley's cause of death is still pending, according to the coroner.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash is under investigation by DPD's Fatal Accident Investigation Team.
