SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - No one was hurt after a fire broke out at a Springfield apartment building Saturday. 

The Springfield Fire Department was called out to Candlewood Apartments at 2:30 p.m. 

A third-floor balcony was on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and did not spread inside. 

The damage is estimated at around $1,000.
