SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Springfield Fire Department was called out for a house fire early Monday morning.Â
Firefighters responded to a two-story home in the 1100 block of N. 4th St. at 3:38 a.m.Â
SFD said the fire had started on the outside of the home and extended into the walls.Â
Crews were able to get the fire put out and were on the scene for about two hours.Â
No injuries were reported.Â
