PAXTON, Ill. (WAND) - A Decatur man is facing multiple child sex crime charges after being arrested in a sting operation by Paxton police.Â
A Paxton police officer who was undercover posing as a 15-year-old girl was communicating with Jeffrey P. Chadwicke. He was arrested on October 1 in Decatur.Â
His charges include indecent solicitation of a child, solicitation to meet a child, and sexual exploitation of a child. He was on parole at the time of his arrest. Paxton police told WAND News Chadwicke has been charged with child sex crimes in the past as well.Â
He was booked into the Ford County Jail.Â
