CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Two women are recovering after a shooting early Saturday morning.
It happened in the 1800 block of W. Bradley Avenue just after 3:15 a.m.
Champaign Police say, when they arrived they found two women from Champaign who had been shot.
One had been shot in the cheek and hand. The second was shot in the leg. Both 22 year old's were taken to the hospital for treatment. They are expected to recover.
Police say, the women were taking part in an gathering the parking lot when a unknown person came up and started shooting and left.Â
No arrests have been made.Â
