Subjects police are searching for following Jasper St homicide

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying two subjects they said were in the area where a homicide occurred earlier this month.

Police said the people shown in pictures and video were both observed walking on Jasper Street around the time of the homicide.

On April 15, at 6:48 p.m., the Decatur Police Department responded to 838 S. Jasper Street regarding the report of a gunshot victim.

Officers found a 65-year-old man dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Multiple shell casings were found near the victim, who was identified as Darrell D. Coon, Jr.
