EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND) - If you see a parking lot full of police cars outside of Effingham High School this week, school officials want you to know there is no need to worry.Â
Effingham Unit 40 Schools took to Facebook to tell people local law enforcement is using one of the rooms at the school for training.Â
The training started Tuesday and will wrap up this Thursday. Â
"We appreciate their partnership and the important work they do to keep our community safe," the district posted.Â
