CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) – Someone has purchased a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in central Illinois.
The Illinois Lottery says a ticket worth $350,000 was sold at Circle K in Champaign, which is located at 601 N. Neil St. Officials say it matched the five numbers (03-16-17-18-27) to win the jackpot amount.
The ticket was part of the Monday midday drawing.
“The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights,” Illinois Lottery leaders said in a press release. “Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.”
The Circle K store that sold the winning ticket will get a $3,500 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket.
