(WAND) - Spring-like weather takes over across central Illinois after another round of winter.

Snow showers were reported across the area Wednesday, but sunshine will rule today with highs well into the 40s.  While breezy, it won't be as windy as yesterday.
 
Another wintry mix will move in tonight with snow more likely far north.

On Friday, rain is likely in the afternoon with highs near 50°.
 
Sunshine returns this weekend with highs around 50° Saturday and in the 50s Sunday.
 
It turns breezy and much warmer early next week with 60s Monday, low-70s Tuesday, and 60s again Wednesday.
