BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WAND) - Almost one year after Biaggi's restaurant in Bloomington was robbed at gunpoint, police have made arrests.
Two people were arrested and charged in connection with the December 9, 2024 robbery.
On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, full extradition arrest warrants were issued for two suspects.
On December 9, 2024, Bloomington police officers responded to a report of an
armed robbery at a business in the 3000 block of East Empire Street, Biaggi's.
At least two suspects wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing robbed the business, with one suspect showing and using a gun during the crime.
The suspects ran away after stealing personal and business property, including an undisclosed amount of cash.
While property was damaged, no significant injuries were reported.
During the course of the investigation, the case was referred to the Bloomington Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division. They were able to identify two suspects, Bradford House and Autrayvion Haley.
House was served with the arrest warrant on October 29, 2025, at the McLean County Detention Facility, where he was already in custody on unrelated charges.
Haley was arrested on November 3, 2025, at the Sangamon County Courthouse by a Bloomington police officer assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service, with assistance from the Sangamon County Sherriff's Office.
House, 21, of Springfield, faces three counts of Armed robbery/no firearm, three counts of Aggravated robbery/indicate armed with a firearm, three counts of robbery, and two counts of burglary.
Haley, 23, of Springfield, faces three counts of Armed robbery/no firearm, three counts of Aggravated robbery/indicate armed with a firearm, three counts of robbery, and two counts of burglary.
House remains in custody at the McLean County Detention Facility. Haley is currently in custody at the Sangamon County Detention Facility.
Chief Jamal Simington said, "The detectives' work to find the offenders responsible for harming the employees of one of our area's premier restaurants is applaudable. Their expertise, focus, and persistence in working with the victims and using every tool available to them to solve this crime was the difference-maker. I want all of our community members to know we strive every day to enhance livability and improve safety on their behalf."
