DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Two firefighters were injured while fighting a fire in Decatur early Monday morning.Â
The Decatur Fire Department was called to a 2-story house fire in the 1000 block of N. Church St. just before 3 a.m.Â
Heavy fire was showing from two front porches when crews arrived.
The fire was extinguished by about 3:15 a.m.Â
Two people who lived there had escaped on their own and will have to be relocated.Â
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries, the Decatur Fire Department said.
The cause is currently under investigation by the Decatur Fire Department.Â
