CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — The McKinley Center at the University of Illinois is celebrating a major milestone with its students: its 100th anniversary.
This milestone marks a century of being leaders in college student health around the country. The McKinley Health Center offers an extensive list of services, from women's health to vaccinations to mental health therapy.
The school is proud that its health programs continue to touch lives and make a difference.
Danita Brown Young, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, says, "The need for excellent health care for our students is critical and crucial. We know when our students are healthy, that means they're able to to thrive"
